1Key points

2Who we are

[Company name] (“we”) provides the voice analysis service. If you have questions, contact [contact e-mail / address].

3How the recording is handled

Your voice is analyzed on your phone. The microphone is used only for the microphone check, the room check and the recording. The analysis produces pitch and volume values for each short piece of sound (over a thousand sets); our server then calculates the voice analysis results from these values, in a spreadsheet at Google (Google Sheets) that only our team can open. The recording itself stays in your phone's memory after the analysis and disappears when you close the page.

This also holds during the test phase: with the test links, only the analysis values and the data in section 4 are uploaded, never the recording.

If a recording cannot be completed (for example not enough usable voice, the time limit, or an analysis error), we still upload the analysis values and recording data of section 4, to find the cause and improve the recording system; the recording itself is not uploaded. If you press “Cancel recording”, nothing is uploaded. [lawyer to confirm]
